Quotes
A quote is based on what we can see and measure on site on the day. If conditions turn out to be different once work starts, for example rock where we expected soil, we tell you before we do anything about it rather than after.
What A Quote Includes
Unless it says otherwise in writing, a quote covers the wall, its footing, drainage and backfill. Excavation, spoil removal, engineering and any approval fees are listed separately so you can see them.
Approvals
Where a development or building approval is required, the application is lodged by the property owner. We will tell you it is needed and provide the drawings and engineering the application asks for.
Engineering
Any wall over 1.5 m of retained height, and any wall carrying a load behind it, is built to an engineer's design. The engineering is an additional cost and is quoted separately.
Access And Site Conditions
We price on the access available at the time of quoting. If access changes, for example a gate is locked or a machine can no longer reach the wall line, the price may change and we will discuss it with you first.
This Website
The information on this site is general. It is not an engineering opinion and it is not approval advice for your specific wall. Your site gets assessed on its own.
